Three Days Left to Register! – Susquehanna Greenway River Towns Workshop

The Susquehanna River is one of the most flood prone rivers in the country. This workshop will help municipal leaders and residents understand why we are experiencing more frequent and severe flooding and what can be done to help minimize future flooding. Experts will present examples of successful programs that use green infrastructure, floodplain ordinances, and stormwater authorities to help control flooding and beautify communities. State and federal agency representatives will present information on technical assistance and funding programs for green infrastructure projects.

Who Should Attend:

Municipal officials, planners, downtown managers, economic development officials, conservation organizations, recreation groups, business leaders, and community members interested in implementing green infrastructure and other strategies to alleviate flooding and beautify the community.

Bring your project ideas to discuss with design and engineering firms and funding agencies.
