May 16, 6PM to 8PM – Valley United (Luzerne county based community organization focused on strengthening disaster response) is hosting a Disaster Preparedness Forum on May 16, 6PM to 8PM at the Wilkes-Barre Area Career & Technical Center, 350 Jumper Road

Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.  This is a great opportunity for residents, businesses, and friends living along and around the Susquehanna River to mingle with long-term recovery groups, local officials, and your neighbors all while learning how to keep your community safe in the event of a disaster.  Informational booths and speakers will keep you up to date on the latest disaster preparedness issues and plans.
