ShickshinnyForward fund contributes to ‘Blessings in a Backpack’

The ShickshinnyForward Fund of the Luzerne Foundation is proud to present Mrs Pennsylvania, Kimberly McLendon, with a check for $2,000 to her chosen charity, Blessings in a Backpack.  Blessings in a Backpack partners with America to ensure impoverished elementary school children are fed on the weekends throughout the school year.   This grant was made possible through the work of Shickshinny resident, Clarence Lewis.
